The End Of Hurricane Season and New Crew Arrives!

Posted by on November 3, 2015

Things are getting pretty exciting around here. Well, not really but the season is finally over…hurricane season that is and we are so happy that there were no big storms for us and it is over with! We got lucky and we know it. Some were not as lucky and our hearts go out to them. It is always heartbreaking to see the damage that hurricanes leave behind especially when it is somewhere that you are familiar with.

OK, so everyone keeps asking us, where are you now? We are still in Culebra, Puerto Rico but not for long. We plan on heading to the Virgin Islands as soon as we can. We are waiting for the east winds subside since that is the direction that we are going. It’s no fun beating into rough seas and oncoming winds. From what we saw this morning it looks like we will have a lull on Monday so that’s when we plan on heading out.

For the time being we’ve been really excited that our daughter Rachel has joined us! I think that deserves a big Woo Hoo! We are so happy that she is back with us on Moon again. It’s been fun revisiting all of the beautiful beaches and snorkel spots around Culebra and seeing them in a new light and excitement.

Culebra has been very good to us and this was a great place to spend the hurricane season. We are really going to miss this island but, it is time to move on and we can’t wait to see new places and share new stories with you. As always we will take lots of photos…by the way Rachel is now our official photographer, she has a great eye for the beauty around her!

Take care…miss you all!

Jennifer, Brian and Rachel
